    The Air condition worked like a freezer too. The A/C in our new car is just the size that i barley works in the vehicle when it is 100, when it is 115 out side it can not keep up. The A/C (V-Twin compressor) in my old Plymouth when it is running it will freeze you and the two car sitting next to you at a light. if you have the weather report on and open the windows you can see the out side temperature drop by 2 degrees 3 states over, it still puts out its old cold front.

    I had one just like this, same year too. It was a metallic brown/bronze color with the largest electric moonroof I've ever seen in a car. I bought it as my winter car in Michigan so I could store my '88 Mustang 5.0 to save it from the salt. She served her purpose well, but I really did like the car and now wish it was treated better and preserved as well.

      @kylecooper4812 6 дней назад

      It was to remind you not to leave the keys in the ignition when you left the car. If you left them in for a few hours, the battery would drain until it died. It’s a convenience made more necessary when many people lived dozens of miles away from the next house. America is a big place!

    Remember people, adjusting for inflation, a car in 1970 went from ~8k-68k. You could get a very nice car for 20k or less. These same cars are so well made, you could pass them down to your grandchildren. Theres still very many old cars that are in good shape, while being cheap and easy to maintain. The extra 4mpg and 2 safety stars isn't worth a disposable car. Especially if instead of paying 10k, you pay 100k+... The only new car that is worth the hassle and price is the corolla. You sometimes can find them between 19-24k. At that point, why not buy a low mile 00s car, or say skrew it and make an investment into a nice car from the 50-70s. You could possibly even do a partially restored, or restomod for the same under 25k tag.
